Accepted Answer

Almost all NLPNP skilled worker categories — Express Entry Skilled Worker and Skilled Worker (non-Express Entry) — require a genuine, full-time, permanent job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer. International Graduate also generally expects a qualifying job offer or clear intended occupation; only International Entrepreneur is built around a business investment rather than an employer offer.

What's the difference between the Express Entry and non-Express Entry Skilled Worker categories?

Both require an NL job offer in a skilled occupation, but the Express Entry Skilled Worker category also requires you to hold an active Express Entry profile — a nomination under that category adds significant Comprehensive Ranking System points. The non-Express Entry Skilled Worker category leads to a provincial nomination and permanent residence application outside the Express Entry system.
